The traditional PulPaper event has been fully redesigned. The next generation, Pulp &
Beyond 2024 is the leading forum bringing together the latest forest-based bioeconomy innovations, products, services, and technologies as well as key people throughout the ecosystem on 9-12 April 2024 at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre in Finland.

Pulp & Beyond Conference on Tuesday 9th April is focusing on innovative woodbased products, carbon zero future mills, and modern automation and control systems.

The actual Pulp & Beyond 2024 event area on 10-11 April will feature two different
program stages during Wednesday and Thursday and the exhibition. The Main
Stage is for top-level panel discussions and keynote speakers as Director General Petteri Taalas from The Finnish Meteorological Institute, CEO Paula Lehtomäki from Finnish Forest Industries Federation, CEO Risto E.J. Penttilä from Nordic West Office and Director Innovation, Product Development & Technical Services Michael Strobl from MM Board & Paper GmbH. Speakers’ corner is for event partners’ technical and
business presentations. Pulp & Beyond 2024 will address topics such as climate change, the green transition, and the future prospects of the forest industry.

The event will also feature discussions on global economy and politics, as well as
the importance of innovation. The event is free of charge for visitors on 10-11 April.

Pulp & Beyond 2024 will be full of discussions, forums, meetings, and networking. There will be social lounges, remote work areas and a lot of other activities for visitors. Evening programs for example Beach Party and excursions will be also arranged in connection with the event.

There will be nearly 200 companies participating the event and also own area for start-ups. The exhibition is very international, and half of exhibitors are coming from foreign countries.

The event offers new encounters, inspiration, networking, and business possibilities. The new event format will have a strong focus on sustainability, efficiency, and functionality.

Sustainability will play a central role when it comes to participating the event as an
exhibitor but also on catering and travelling. Visitors will have possibility to compensate possible travelling emissions and only responsibly produced food will be served.

Pulp & Beyond is a totally new event which will be inspiring, human-focused and
enabling. Now it was definitely time to start something new and open a new Nordic
Arena for innovations!

Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre organizes the Pulp & Beyond 2024 event in cooperation with the Finnish Forest Products Engineers’ Association (PI).
